Clinics for 2018
We welcome bookings for Horse Agility, Le Trec, Natural Horsemanship and other clinics.
We are currently hosting Mounted Archery clinics with the Ribble Valley Mounted Archers. They will be here on alternate Saturdays, with ground sessions (learning and practicing with a bow) and mounted sessions (normally you will need to bring your own horse). Please contact the club directly if you wish to be involved.
We welcome trainers to hire our facilities to run clinics. Alongside the Adventure Neighground obstacles we have a wide range of materials and items for arena work, for example different surfaces to walk on, poles, cones, bollards, curtains etc.
If you would like horses to spend a full day here, we can partition corrals in the field, allowing the horses to have a rest while the handlers enjoy lunch or have a theory session.
Our bridleway leads to a number of interesting tracks suitable for Le Trec POR training (either mounted on on foot), while the Neighground itself provides a wonderful Wild Agility experience. We have two ponies, Dolly and Dylan who are available for non-owners to use if required. Please see the Experience page for more information on them.
Hacking from our site includes two routes which consist almost entirely of bridleways. One is a short 20 minute route (with one hunting gate) and the other is 4.5 miles (approx. an hour and a half) and includes steps and an optional route to paddle in a stream. We can provide route maps for both options.
Road access is good, we are 12 minutes from Junction 5 on the M65.
Complimentary tea and coffee are provided, platters of sandwiches etc can be ordered in.
Please contact us for further information and pricing.
All trainers must provide proof of insurance at the time of booking.
The video below shows a very small selection of our arena obstacles.
